Somewhere between law school and 2009 – a whopping 7 months – my reluctance to try new things started to age. Or maybe that fear became so suffocating that I had to run from it to survive. And that’s wholly new, because, so often, my fight-or-flight response has been paralysis.

But it hasn’t worked.

And now it's 2010.

So I'm ready to paint the pictures I've dreamed, even if it means starting all over again and learning to paint by numbers. Because just “as around the sun the Earth knows she’s revolving, and the rosebuds know to bloom in early May, just as hate knows love’s the cure” I can rest my mind assured that failure is the impulse of design.

That just might be the way to describe this place: impulsive design. It’s my second childhood. And since the best childhoods are armed with only imagination and never the burden of foresight, I have no idea what it’ll be tomorrow.

So what are you going to find here? There isn't a short list. This place is a conversation. Sarcastic? Yes. Witty? Hopefully. There will be made-up words, genuine sentiment, great puns, shiny objects and media all over the place; all, of course, in the voice of a Jersey kid.

Thanks for stopping by.
